Flight status on your iPhone Lock Screen
Flighto puts your flight on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island as a Live Activity: a countdown to departure or landing, terminal and gate, delays, and the baggage belt after landing. It starts by itself three hours before departure for flights in My Flights and needs Flighto Pro.
What it shows, step by step
- Check-in, from three hours before departure: the countdown to departure and the terminal.
- Gate, from an hour before departure: the gate and the countdown.
- In the air: a band that shows how far the flight has come, and the time to landing.
- Landed: the landing time and the baggage belt, when the airport reports it.
- A delay shows in amber next to the times.
Good to know
- The Live Activity follows the flight even when Flighto is closed: updates arrive by push. To start without opening the app, it needs iOS 17.2 or later.
- It is on for a flight once you allow notifications, and you can switch it off for each flight at the end of its details.
- Notifications also tell you about gate changes, delays, departure and landing.
- Flighto ends the Live Activity an hour after arrival.
- On Android 16, Flighto for Android, coming to Google Play soon, shows the same as a Live Update in the status bar and on the lock screen.
