Terms of Use
Flighto is an app for iPhone and Android by Melih Ramazan Öztürk, Karl-Zurlo-Str. 11, 40885 Ratingen, Germany ("we"). These terms apply to the app and the services behind it.
If you download Flighto from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your licence to the app.
This is a translation. If it differs from the German version, the German version prevails.
1. What Flighto offers
Without a subscription, Flighto shows a live map of aircraft, details about aircraft and their routes, airports and the weather there. Flighto Pro adds flight status by flight number, notifications when a flight changes, Live Activities, My Flights, route search and airport boards. We keep developing the app, and individual features may change.
2. No guarantee for flight data, not for navigation
All information comes from third parties: aircraft positions from the community project adsb.lol, schedules and status from the flight data provider AeroDataBox, weather from the US weather agency NOAA. It can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and not every airport reports gate, terminal or baggage reclaim. Your airline and the airport are always authoritative. Flighto is not intended for navigation or for flight operations. Allow enough time and don't rely on the app alone to catch a flight or to pick someone up.
3. Trial
Every device gets three days of Flighto Pro once, when the app is first opened. No purchase or payment method is needed; the trial ends by itself and does not turn into a subscription. How we prevent a device from getting the trial more than once is explained in the Privacy Policy.
4. Subscription
Flighto Pro is a subscription with a weekly or yearly term. It is bought in the App Store or on Google Play; Apple or Google handle purchase and payment under their own terms. You see the price and term before you buy. The subscription renews automatically for the same term unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel or change it in your Apple Account's subscription settings or on Google Play, and in Flighto under My Flights → gear → Manage. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules. Your statutory rights as a consumer, such as a right of withdrawal, are not affected.
5. Google Maps
The app includes Google Maps features and content. Use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Sources and licences
Live aircraft data © adsb.lol contributors, licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL 1.0). The app lists the other data sources under My Flights → gear → Sources.
7. Fair use
Please don't query the services behind Flighto automatically or in bulk, don't circumvent the subscription or the trial, and don't use the app for unlawful purposes. If you do, we may block your access to Flighto Pro. Rights that the law grants you and that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and to the extent of any guarantee we have given. For slight negligence, we are liable for Flighto Pro only if we breach an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely; liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. For the features without a subscription, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence, except for injury to life, body or health.
9. Changes
If the app, the data sources or the law change, we will update these terms. We point out significant changes in the app. The current version is always on this page.
10. Law and contact
German law applies. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected. Questions go to iscoresport@gmail.com; further details are in the legal notice.
